This evil is in the form of hatred, anger, jealousy, mercilessness etc. it takes root from one corner of the society and spreads by means of the entire folk or group, affecting everyone. This evil makes the boys open each some others trust and they live in fear at all times. They give in to barbarian behavior and all forms of civility and humanity is lost in conclusion as they begin to kill each other without take nap realizing it. Piggy is shown to be the only form of civility throughout the story and Simon is the only boy who has any form of primitive goodness.
